Much more than a sex shop: a community for sexual wellness.

Platanomelón began as a brand focused on sexual pleasure. At Firma, we saw the opportunity to broaden its purpose and connect with an increasingly diverse community—one that understands sexual wellness as just one part of overall wellbeing.

We developed a new brand positioning to shift from a focus on erotic toys to a more holistic view of self-care, education, and intimate health. We moved beyond just talking about sexuality to embracing wellness in all its forms.
This transformation came to life through a new visual identity: a redesigned logo, graphic system, color palette, and typography that reflect a more empathetic, inclusive brand—ready to lead an open, taboo-free conversation about intimate wellbeing.
To reinforce this new positioning, we built a visual and verbal strategy that balances pleasure, education, and wellness—moving away from the traditional sex shop imagery.

We introduced soft shapes and a more inclusive visual language to reflect a more comprehensive view of intimate wellness. We also gave equal importance to both the products and educational content, emphasizing the idea that taking care of yourself—and enjoying it—starts with getting to know yourself.
We redefined the Platanomelón universe to move beyond the perception of a sex toy brand and become a leading voice in intimate wellness, education, and self-care.

To do so, we created two distinct visual territories: play, with a vibrant color palette and bold, expressive typography; and care, with soft tones and elegant type that evoke calm, wellbeing, and self-care.

The result: an open, expert brand with a strong emotional connection to its audience.
