Head of Design
The Head of Design will be responsible for developing and managing all aspects of our design and creative output. It's a leadership role, with accountability for online and offline design output and commercial success of the design and creative department. You will ensure creative deliverables are aligned with client expectations and executed within budget and timescales.
You’ll be developing concepts and visuals, and at the same time be responsible for recruiting and managing multi-disciplinary third party suppliers and internal design resources.
It will involve you using your best-practice toolkit to implement new processes and praxis to improve the efficiency of the design department.
At least ten years experience in a senior designer role including concept development, client and supplier contact, and team management.
Excellent organisational and communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
Fluent Spanish and English (both spoken and written) is a must.
What you'll do:
Lead and contribute to the development of the design team (10-15 members). Mange freelancers as required.
Take a lead role in conceptualizing and managing the creative elements of creative projects (both on and offline). Be a point of contact and become a trusted source of design-advice for clients.
Ensure that design and creative projects are delivered on time and within established budget, providing quality on both design outputs and production to ensure commercial success.
Work with other teams within the agency to help deliver 360º services
Be a point of contact for external suppliers, such as printers, photographers, illustrators and copywriters.
What is a must?
Proven track record in leading and creating excellent Brand and Design work from concept to full production. Projects will range from global and international to local, throughout the fields of corporate identity, digital, retail, packaging, editorial etc.
